Travelling to Palawan and visited the Crocodile farm.
10 months ago I was given a chance to attend our National Convention held in Palawan. As a traveller like me, I took the opportunity to visit some beautiful sites in the city. Getting there you need either to ride in a ship or a plane.
*Crocodile farm in Palawan.
And unfortunately there are no direct flight from Bacolod to Palawan. So i need to go to Iloilo city because they have the direct flight to Palawan. I arrived 10 in the morning, after being registered to NatCon we have still time to roam around the beautiful city of Palawan. First stop was the Crocodile Wildlife Farm. You can see here the 2 kinds of crocs, Salt water crocodile and fresh water crocodile.
They preserved and value the life of crocodiles from egg to matured type of crocodile. Some of the crocodiles found here were rescued from the rivers of Palawan. Did you know that they actually eat humans? Some natives in the area believed that when somebody was lost and found no trace they can conclude that they were eaten by the crocs. But crocodiles are one of the contributors in our ecosystem.
That is why this farm preserved their lives and they considered them as one of the endangered species. They also showed us how they were taken care of and how the crocodiles lived. So if you ever have the chance to go in Palawan, you should visit the Crocodile wildlife farm. The farm has also the restaurant, accesories made up of skin or bone of crocodiles and you can found also here the snake and some birds.
wow nice
