Kindness Beyond Measure <3

Here with me in this picture is Saito san, the guy in maroon and my friend who is also a teacher. He came here all the way from Japan just to have a vacation. Little, did we know that he has a mission that he likes to accomplish, which is sharing his blessings for those less fortunate children and we are lucky to help him accomplish it. :)

He stayed here for 7 days and we met on his 5th day here in Cebu because he wanted to ask some suggestions on what to do in his last stay here, so we suggested to go on island hopping because this is really popular for some Japanese people. But he was too hesitant to accept our suggestions. I finally spoke up and suggested him how about giving food or feeding street children which he happily agreed. ^___^

On the next day of this spontaneous event, we helped him buy some ingredients, he's planning to make "Onigiri" or Rice ball and "Yakisoba" or Stir Fry Noodles for the street children.

We were actually having a hard time to find a place to cook because my place is a bit far from the city. Eventually, I finally gave in :D
I was kinda reluctant because our house is under renovation and it's messy. xD

So here we go.....

We first made the rice ball.

Here goes another menu, we helped him prepare and cook Yakisoba. :) :) :)

I asked him if he likes to cook it on the stove or wood-fire, he said he wanna challenge himself to cook it in wood-fired and it's his first time to try it.

And it's finally cooked .................

Put it in a bun.....

We are going to hit the road and distribute the food to some random children. <3

I hope they'll like it....

It was great indeed to see them feeling excited about our simple gifts to them.

I had a chance to take some videos during the event.

As much as we want to give everyone, we don't have much food left because we didn't expect the number of kids will grow that fast. :0

It was really a fun-filled and touching experience. We never know that we could be an instrument in someone's mission.
