Potipot Island
Aside from being a freediving coach. I am also a travel organizer, travel enthausiast or whatever you wanna call it. This story happen way back early 2016.
After the very challenging tour at Pangasinan, we have decided to go straight to Zambales since it is less than 3 hrs drive from Alaminos. Our orignal plan was to look for a place to camp near potipot since we arrive 7 in the evening, so we can go by morning. But upon asking the vendor from a sari sari store, we found out the we can go directly to Potipot island though it is dark. The travel time from the main land to Potipot is just 5-10mins, making it safe to travel at night.
The boat fee cost 500 good for 5pax but since we arrive late, there is no other guest to share with. Entrance fee cost 300/head for an over night stay. But we were lucky to have it for free.
Almost forgot to mention that we forgot one of our back pack on the boat and what is inside is very precious (yung pinaka mamahal kong kumot!!). I am glad that when i texted the boatman they respond with positive news. They brought my back pack the next morning.
we woke up early and had breakfast. Explore rhe island for a little while.
We left the island by 9am and had a small talk with the boat man and waved good bye. Next stop is Magalawa Island.. Thank you Lord for giving us this wonderful mondate. And for giving us a chance to continuesly explore the wonder of Your creation.
