TIES Network Analysis ($TIE)
The following is not financial advice.
Welcome to back The Scoop!
This is the next post at a place where we share analysis and opinions for interesting coins, tokens and pure gems in the vast landscape of the blockchain world. There's so many coins out there, but not a lot of free information (looking at you, paid groups) and analysis on them. The Scoop aims to change that by sharing and improving the data available for a given coin by focusing on evaluating instead of predicting.
What is TIE?
It's a set of products, originally focused on social/professional networking and collaboration and now on decentralized database and content storage and searchability, using DApps and the Ethereum network. Use cases include big data, social networks, document registries, mass media and file sharing.

- BigchainDB (but no token that we're aware of)
How is TIE different?
We've yet to hear of a LinkedIn-like crypto project and this one, if it turns into a high traffic searchable data source and ICO platform, has a shot to stand out and serve a large group of professionals. Although they have pivoted and are focused on the database product now instead of professional platform, both have business use cases.
Pros
- niche product
- various technical papers
- seemingly well funded
- active dev
Cons
- recent team turnover
- product pivot
Any constructive criticism?
Team must communicate more on roadmap progress and any further pivots for the product lines. Getting a beta out the door should be a top priority and hopefully they will be able to dedicate more time on the ICO platform soon.
Where is it traded?
Most of it's volume is on Tidex as of today.

The Final
Based on the FA, TIE looks like a medium risk with high reward potential if they can deliver and drive adoption. Picking it up under 4k sats would be bargain or around 80 - 85 cents would be an upper entry while still expecting solid, crypto-style gains.
And that's your scoop!
