I Wonder If I Had A Younger Sister is an anime fan-game inspired by bullet hell games. It was made by Fangzhangmnm
The game follows unnamed protagonist as he imagines life with anime sisters. The girls in this game are: Umaru from Himouto Umaru-chan, Sagiri from Ero-manga Sensei & Shana from Shakugan no Shana. They're drawn with simple but pretty 8-bit pixel art style.
The game is designed to play like bullet hell games. It plays like the battle parts of Undertale.
Each fight compromises of the girl(s) attacking and you have to avoid their attacks in a bullet hell gameplay fashion. At first, the attacks are easy to avoid. Then they increasingly get harder.
Umaru attacks are mainly melee ones. Shana uses her sword and fires projectiles at you. Sagiri fights with words and her pen.
The game is divided into levels (or should I say, fights) that seamlessly follow each other. If you lose, you have the option to restart from the beginning of the level with full health. I found that feature helpful as I lost too many times~ haha.
On the downside, "I Wonder If I Had A Younger Sister" doesn't have sounds be it music or SFX. It felt something was off as I played.
Another problem with the game is that it depends on knowing the personalities of the girls from their perspective anime for their dialogue & attacks to make sense. If you do make sense to you, then the story is hilarious.
Despite the issues I still think "I Wonder If I Had A Younger Sister" is enjoyable game, especially if you like any of the anime and want to see the characters more.
