Pennsif - The Early Years - The Church Fete & Fancy Dress Competition 1966
One year on and we're back at the same church fete as the last homemovie.
It's now 1966, the year England won the World Cup and I turned six.
I've got a new costume for the fancy dress competition.
This time round I'm Huckleberry Hound, partnering with Yogi Bear.
The films of the year seem to be well represented - with a bit of 'The Brides of Fu Manchu' and a dash of 'Custer of the West' in evidence.
I wonder if the robot was Doctor Who influenced?
It looks like I won a prize - was it a crossword puzzle book?
And then it's on to the dancing - some tutu's, some tap and some tambourines.
Bring on the dancing girls... wot, no boys!

The head thing was cardboard - it was stored in my dad's attic for years.
It might even still be there. I'd better check before we sell the house.
