We live in a world which is a global village, and we are all interconnected. In an interconnected world, everything affects other things too, either in a positive or negative way. Just like the whole body of an individual suffers when part of a finger is bruised, similarly the whole world is affected even if there is violence in only a particular area. So, one also gets affected by the happenings in another country. Therefore, it is impossible for peace to prevail in other parts of the world when even a part of it is in turmoil.
Nice thoughts! In my experience it's not only people who are all connected, but all of nature is. Ecosystems is what we call it, from a planetary scale to the smallest of locations. From the fungi and bacteria in the soil to the birds in the sky. How did we humans forget we're part of that reality?
Yes,It is indeed most puzzling when one thinks from that perspective as well.In reality, life is about growth, self-enlargement and expansion. Expansion implies cathecting to others and loving. Therefore, love is life. Absence of love is death. By doing good to others, one attracts happiness and life. Brutes and rogues, who harm others, will not find happiness in this world nor in any dimension
