Humans are naturally averse to change (we are creatures of habit), but as you say, it's inevitable. To be honest, Steeming has changed for the better for me, but I'm not an early adopter (meaning I arrived in late 2017, as opposed to those that came in 2016). I hope this trend continues.... Maybe OGs see it differently
I hope the trend continues also as I think that in the end it will create a place where more people are comfortable and able to be more of their best. I ma early 2017 so, not quite OG. If I was here 3-6 months earlier, things would likely have been very different for me too.
ah you're almost an OG ahah. I compare us a bit to graduation classes in University. The class of 2016 was hanging out together more at Steemfest since they already knew eachother, and the 2017 kids hung out in different groups...some mingled of course, but there was a bit of a trend. Funny to observe
