Saul of Tarsus

in #thoughts7 years ago

It is interesting how much hatred there is towards "terrorists" today. Even the word terrorists is often misplaced as it suggests the only motive of the individual is to cause terror. It seems almost intentional--to prevent us from trying to understand a different point of view. Not attempting to defend violence in any form--but I do think using the word terrorism divides us further. Saul of Tarsus--today--would absolutely be considered a terrorist. We have context to Saul's story--and his story is now a story of forgiveness. What drives us to avoid context? It's taboo to even seek to understand. Maybe we can find a Paul?
