Sometimes the moments we capture on film are nothing more than a detail of something we want to remember. Other times the moments we capture are things that we pray we never forget.
This was one of the later series of images that have become so dear to my heart. It shows the love between a grandfather and a grandchild that can never be taken away.

The look up both of their faces is pure love and it is a strong tie. For a grandparent it starts from that first moment in which the child is placed in the grandparent's arms. They will never stop loving this child no matter how far they may be from each other.
So take a moment and remember how much that grandparent meant to you. If you are lucky enough to still have them here, call them, hug them, tell them how much they mean to you. Our time with them is shorter than you think and you should cherish it as much as you can.
