What are Theta, Tfuel and ThetaTV?

In the last weeks, I've been following closely two coins:

• Theta
• TFuel

The tokens are behind the platform Theta TV ( https://www.theta.tv/ ) - see what Theta TV is below - created by Theta Labs (a company with several patents on Video Content Delivery)

Theta

Theta is a decentralized video delivery network with its own blockchain, designed for incentivizing the sharing of bandwidth.

Theta aims to solve the problem related to video streaming letting users lend their devices as caching nodes that relay video streams to any viewer in the world.

Theta’s white paper claims that its solution could reduce delivery costs by 80 percent over the existing infrastructure and this is attracting a lot of attention from users, investors, and companies working in the online video industry.

TFuel

Theta Fuel is the operational token of the Theta protocol. Users will use Theta Fuel to complete transactions like paying a relay node to provide you with a video stream, or for deploying or interacting with smart contracts.

How to earn TFuel
Users can earn Tfuel in 3 main ways (there are more but for now we'll talk just about this):

1. Using the Theta TV platform --> simply by watching video from gamers, the users will share its excess of bandwidth to support the streaming of the contents to other users and will be remunerated in TFuel
2. Installing an Edge Node --> installing the Theta app (Theta Edge Note) and run it on their computers will allow the users to support the network with their Internet bandwidth and their computational power lets the streaming be easier. Based on their net/computer performance, the user will be remunerated in TFuel
3. Setting up a Pre-Guardian Node --> this is something that will change from today, but basically stacking Theta token in your wallet will allow the users to earn TFuel

Market Trend
In the last few days, there has been an increase in the attention that the tokens are receiving from the investors (below you'll find the reasons).

Let's see how the tokens are performing:

1. Theta (Increase of about 300% in the last month)
   

2. TFuel (Increase of 700% in the last 30 days)
   

As you can see from the data above, both the tokens are experiencing a strong increase, what are the main reasons?

There are 2 main reasons why this is happening:

1. the first one is the shift from the Testnet to Mainnet with the introduction of the Guardian Nodes and the increase in the stability of the network

1. the second one is the announcement that Theta.tv will be included in the Samsung Phone (Samsung is a partner of the project)

What else will happen today
Today, other than the shift to the Mainnet, there will be a big announcement from the Theta Labs team.
Rumors says that today will be announced another outstanding partnership (Disney, Youtube, Netflix?) that will probably push again the price market when the news will be released. In the long term, analysts expect that the Theta token can reach 10$ while TFuel can reach (1$).

We'll see what will happen today, for sure the Theta project is very interesting aiming to solve a real problem and having already an application in the real world.
