Thanks so much for spreading the word about my "Holiday Hootenany", as you put it. That's a great description of the BLACKLUX Party, for sure! And don't worry about over-staying your welcome at the party. Anyone who is still there on January 9 will be put to work. We don't have ashtrays to empty, but people may have hidden an hors d'oevres or two in the potted plants! And there's always wine stains to get out of the carpet. ; )
I always enjoy your parties, and this one is for a great reason. I will stay and clean up, if I'm still on my feet in another 7 days. These parties do tend to take it out of you, all the dancing and eating and drinking and creating and finally sleeping behind the couch, waiting for the next day to start. Luckily I brought my toothbrush.
Haha -- I think you have a lot of experience with long parties, lol. I like long parties in the winter time, especially if the weather is rough. And with lots of friends and family. When the party finally ends, I'll make sure you aren't still passed out behind the couch or over by the big philodendron!
I hate when that happens...
