The River of Life - Sunday Funday Part 1

One day, my friend showed me some pictures from one of Intagram accounts she followed. It was about a must visit places around Kuala Lumpur. Actually, the places she told me are commonly visited by tourist. But, honestly, I don't visit that places yet eventhought I've been here for almost 8 years. Poor me, right?

So, let's make memories! My friend shouted. We planned to go there since two weeks ago. As we want to walk around that places so we decided to start since morning.

Since it was outdoor walking place, please make sure you check the weather before going. Also, pick a nice yet comfortable outfit because we also want to look good in the picture didn't we? 😉

Here, we go!

At 8.00 am, we took a Rapid KL bus number 200 from our campus to Lebuh Ampang. The weather looked cool that day. It looks like the universe supported our plan! Yeay!

Masjid jamek bus stop is our stop. And since it was too early and we didn't have our breakfast yet, we decided to buy ice cream at Mc Donald store nearby the bus stop. Yeah, it's weird, I know. No one eats ice cream for breakfast. But why not?

Unfortunately, the Ice cream only served at 11am. They only provide the breakfast menu in the morning. Oh, ok. No Ice cream, no problem. We go for Latte and Teh Tarek, then.

Right after we had a simple breakfast, we start the walk. No one of us knows the exact direction. So to avoid malang-melintang-jalan-jalan-nyasar-nyasar, we used google map. And yet, we still lost. But, who cares, 'getting lost' is our middle name tho, we were enjoy it and we were happy. This is what we call getting lost with style, bruh! Haha.

On our way to find a place called River of Life, we found this.

And a swing! Yeay!

At that time, I just let my inner child came out and played! We were so lucky, since it's still early in the morning, the swing is empty. And I can snap a picture like this as the swing was mine. hihi.

And, ha! Don't forget to take a look on your step. There are much information about the places tiled in your walk. I took some of it, have a look!

Sooo, here it is! The River of Life!

They said, if you come at night, there are a pretty blue light on the river.

And it also said that here is the zero mile of Kuala Lumpur.

So, where do we go, next?

So, here it is. The story of our trip to the River of Life last Sunday. We found another interesting places which only can be found by walking such an interesting painting on the walls, for example. Do you want to know? I will write it in the next post, insha Allah.
