Tarneit Community Learning Centre renovation complete
To celebrate, Council is hosting a free event with Bollywood dancing, rides, kids craft, food trucks, live tunes and more
Wyndham City Council is hosting a free family event to celebrate the renovation of Tarneit Community Learning Centre.
The centre, which is part of a wider initiative to deliver more Council services closer to home, opened its door earlier this month.
To celebrate, Council is hosting a free event with Bollywood dancing, rides, kids craft, food trucks, live tunes and more.
Wyndham City Mayor Cr Josh Gilligan said he was proud to show off the centre’s new services, which includes building services and the opportunity to meet town planning experts and economic development officers.
“Our improved facility is all about bringing services to home and forging stronger links with Council and the community but also creating a space where residents can meet and grow together,” Cr Gilligan.
“So join us for our celebration day, share in the array of food with your neighbours and soak up smooth tunes from local artists while the children take part in crafts, and face painting.”
“It’s also the perfect opportunity to explore the centre’s new spaces, services and community classes.
“The renovation includes a new youth space, meeting and working spaces, lounge, garden, and a customer service area, where you can get help with Council enquiries.”
