The ambassador's visit is aimed at discussing several strategic matters which are in the spotlight of two sides of the country, one of which is related to the issue of the politics of suriah,

The ambassador also met with the economic minister and the minister of commerce of Syria, djoko harjanto explained about Indonesia's support for the politics of Syria,
The minister of mohammad nidal As-shaar is very grateful to Indonesia and greatly appreciated the visit of the Indonesian ambassador to Syria. In the meeting also discussed about the economy between the two countries, Syria hopes for a tariff reduction on the products coming to Indonesia,
The Ministry of Economy of Syria also discussed the cooperation between the two countries, such as the processing of small-scale enterprises, cooperatives, and also the mid-training of cadres in Indonesia
The Indonesian Ambassador welcomes the cooperation plan to increase the volume of bilateral trade.

Indonesian ambassador also met with minister of tourism surabaya * bihsir riad yazigi * to discuss some cooperation plan between two parties, In this case the ambassador of RI discuss about some operators of Hajj and Umrah travels who want to open the Umrah route to Syria, considering there are some relics important history in suriah who want to visit by indonesian society.
the Syrian minister also welcomed the plan, and suriah will give scholarships to the Indonesian students to learn about the culinary of Syria, and this is good news for students like me who want to continue their education abroad.
Syria and Indonesia do have a very close attachment so no wonder, Indonesia has always supported Syria in any field including the politics of Syria.
And we certainly hope the best between the two countries for our good also, hopefully the future will be better.

Duta besar RI djoko harjanto telah bertemu beberapa mentri suriah pada 30 april 2018 di damaskus,
Kunjungan duta besar RI ini bertujuan membahas beberapa hal strategis yang menjadi sorotan dua pihak negara ini, salah satunya yaitu terkait isu politik suriah,
Duta besar RI juga bertemu dengan mentri ekonomi dan menteri perdagangan suriah, djoko harjanto menjelaskan tentang dukungan indonesia terhadap politik suriah,
Mentri suriah mohammad nidal As-shaar sangat berterima kasih kepada indonesia dan sangat mengapresiasikan kunjungan duta besar RI ke suriah, Dalam pertemuan tersebut juga di bahas tentang perekonomian antara dua negara tersebut, suriah berharap adanya penurunan tarif terhadap produk-produk suriah yang masuk ke indonesia,
Kementrian ekonomi suriah juga membahas tentang kerja sama antara dua negara tersebut, seperti pengolahan usaha-usaha kecil,koperasi, dan juga pertengahan seperti pelatihan kader-kader suriah di indonesia
Duta besar indonesia memyambut baik tentang perihal rencana kerja sama tersebut,untuk meningkatkat volume perdagangan bilateral.
Duta besar RI juga bertemu dengan mentri pariwisata suriah *bihsir riad yazigi* untuk membahas beberapa rencana kerja sama antara dua pihak, Dalam hal ini duta besar RI membahas tentang beberapa operator travel haji dan umrah yang ingin membuka jalur umrah ke suriah, mengingat ada beberapa peninggalan sejarah penting di suriah yang ingin di kunjungi oleh masyarakat indonesia.
Kementrian suriah pun menyambut baik rencana tersebut, dan suriah akan memberikan beasiswa kepada supuluh pelajar indonesia untuk belajar tentang kuliner suriah, dan ini merupakan kabar baik bagi pelajar seperti saya yang ingin meneruskan pendidikan ke luar negri.
Suriah dan indonesia memang mempunyai keterikatan yang sangat erat maka tak heran, indonesia selalu mendukung suriah di bidang apapun termasuk politik suriah.
Dan kita tentu berharap yang terbaik antara kedua negara tersebut demi kebaikan kita jug, semoga kedepannya menjadi lebih baik.
