THE DIARY GAME: 5th August, 2020: Staying Home All Day
Hello Steemians!
It was already 9:05 AM when I woke today. As I dashed out of bed, I had the feeling that today would be like one of those days that I would stay indoor all day long. I went towards my wardrobe, took my toothbrush, applied my favorite close-up herbal toothpaste on it and went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth thoroughly.
Immediately I get done brushing my teeth, I went towards the kitchen to check if food was ready. I felt disappointed when I got there only to find out that they haven't even stated cooking yet. Well, I'm used to eating breakfast very late right from the days of when I was still in the university. So, I look it off as if it was one of those days when I would turn breakfast to brunch and lunch to dinner.
Since breakfast was not ready, I went back into my room, locked my door from behind and put on my laptop. Most times, when am on my laptop like that, it's either am seeing a movie or playing a game. However, this time around I was doing a different thing entirely. I was analysing charts in tradingview for my Forex trading. While analyzing some currency pairs, I also took some trades on my Demo account on Metatrader4.
It was already 11:33 AM when I realized the time was far spent in front of the screen. I quickly finalized what I was doing on the laptop, switch it off and closed the lid. Few minutes later, my younger brother came to inform me that food is ready. I couldn't wait for him to finish the statement when I dashed out of the room to the kitchen to serve my food. I was very hungry and I could not hold the hunger no more.
Spaghetti was what I had for breakfast. The delicious spaghetti was prepared by my cousin and it was nourished with some vegetables, fish and pepper. I took a plate full and even went for a second round afterwards.
Playing table tennis have been a regular sport for me since Covid-19 started. A day hardly goes by that I won't play table tennis and most times, I ended up playing with my younger brother or cousin. Today is another stay at home day and I had no choice but to pastime by playing table tennis as I always do on days like this.
I think it was around 6:00pm when I decided to take a nap which didn't last for too long because of a call that came in during that period. I had to get up from bed to receive the call and before I could finish with the call, I wasn't feeling sleepy no more. So, I took to the sitting room and watch my favorite Big Brother Nigeria reality TV show.
It was 8:00pm when I had Cassava flakes and Okro soup and smoked fish for dinner. So bad I forgot to take a picture of the food I had for dinner. Once am done posting this, then I should be watching the Big Brother Nigeria reality TV show, browse through the web, watch some YouTube videos and then call it a day.
