The Diary Game: 24th August, 2020: Bank Stress

Dear diary. Thank God for another day, I had a good night rest. I woke up by 6am for morning devotion, which was anchored by my cousin.

After devotion, I went back to bed and woke up 1hour later. When I woke up, I was busy with my phone.

I came to the sitting room to find my cousin watching television and I decided to join her, the movie took too long. I didn't expect it to be more than 2hours but it lasted for 3hours. I ate bread and tea, I was eating while watching the movie.

The movie finished by 2pm, immediately after watching the movie, NEPA took the light. I was supposed to go to the bank to collect my ATM card in the morning but recalling the crowd normally present in the bank, I felt lazy to go.

When the light went off, then I made up my mind to go collect it. I got dressed and left for the bank. Before leaving, I tried calling one of the marketer's, to confirm if my card was available but the line didn't go through.

Getting to Eco bank by 7up Effurun Sapele Road, I noticed the gates where closed, I inquired only to find out that they aren't working today.

As I couldn't get into Eco, I entered Zenith just by the side of Eco, I was told that they have gotten a new machine but its not yet installed so either I go to the other branch in PTI Road Effurun or I return tomorrow.

I needed the card, so I went to Zenith at PTI Road Effurun. I didn't wait outside for long before entering, when I got inside, people where inside waiting to also collect their ATM card but the advantage here is that seat is being provided for you while you wait but for the first branch, you stand while you wait your turn.

After waiting for 1hour and some minutes, we were told to return the next day due to network challenge but before leaving, the lady stamped our document to allow easy access into the bank the next day.

Ovie Palace Road

I left the bank and decided to walk down Ovie palace road hoping to see something interesting but there wasn't, when I reached the junction, I went down to total to see a friend.

Total Station

My friend works in the costumer service section of total filling station at Effurun Sapele Road, he was quiet busy in the office. I waited for him to finish, we talked a little about a business which I told him in my last visit because he has not understood it quiet well.

Relaxing
While waiting for him, I had a chilled drink which helped relaxed my nerve from the bank stress of the day.

Hangout

After work, we went to Ovie Palace Junction Effurun Sapele Road Delta State, a place where you see different stand of barbeque fish been displayed for sale. We entered one, ordered drink and barbeque.

We spent a little time there before I left for home, when I got home, I couldn't finish my dinner because am almost filled due to the drink and the fish.

After eating I went to sleep, by 10pm, I was called for night devotion. After devotion, I went back to bed.
