The Diary Game: 4th October 2021 - Cooking with Kids (Moist Chocolate Cake)

Hope you had a nice weekend, just like me. My weekends are usually filled with a lot of cooking with my preschooler. So probably today I will just share one of the recipes that we cooked over the weekend. Apologies for no picture of the end result. Cooking with preschoolers sometimes makes you too busy to photograph anything!

Moist Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups of sugar
1 3/4 cup of flour
3/4 cup of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 cup of hot water

Method:

1. Combine all the above except hot water, according to the above order.
2. Mix the ingredients.
3. Add in hot water and mix until combined.
4. Leave for 30 minutes.
5. Bake (I use pressure cooker, you can also use oven).

Done!
