THE DIARY GAME: 2020/09/20: A visit to Lake Biwa Valley and Shirahige Shrine with my friends.

Hi friends,

As I said yesterday, today we went to see Lake Biwa with my friends. Yesterday my friend @sathsara93 told me to come to the Shiga station at 8.30 am. So, today I woke up at 6.30 am and got ready to start our journey. For the breakfast, I had 3 pieces of bread with tea. After that, I left my share house at 7.50 am. We were a little bit late because we faced some difficulties when finding trains. Somehow, we reached to the Shiga station at 9.40 pm. Our friends were waiting at the bus station for us. Then we together got on to the bus and went to the Biwako Valley.

Beauty of the nature - Biwako Valley

The distance from Shiga station to Biwako Valley was 3.3 Km. The bus took only 10 minutes to reach the destination. The ticket price was 3000 yen. While we were buying tickets, the ticket counter lady asked us about our country. We told her that we were from Sri Lanka. That time she told to us 「熱いところですね」atsui tokoro desune (It's a hot place) 。 Among the foreign people, Sri Lanka is known for a hot place. But I want to say, every place in our country doesn’t have a hot climate. There are also some places with a cold climate.

After buying tickets we went to the waiting queue to get on to the cable car. We had to wait there for 30 minutes. A lot of people came to visit this place because of this 4-day holiday. Few minutes later we were able to get in to the cable car and when we reached to the top of the mountain we were surprised. It was a very beautiful place. We spent the top of the mountain for around 3 hours. During that time, we have captured some beautiful photos and went to some places in the mountains to see the beauty of this nature. It went very well without any problem.

At Shirahige Shrine.

After leaving this place we went to see the Shirahige Shrine. This place also very famous. We waited there for a few hours, captured some photos, and then we came back to the station using a taxi. We were very tired. We didn’t get a chance to have our lunch, because we weren’t able to find a suitable restaurant for that. The train came to the station around at 6.10 pm and then we got into the train and said goodbye to Shiga. It was a very beautiful place. I never have seen such a beautiful place. If I got a chance to live a place like this, I never going to miss it. Just WOW!!!!...
