Diary Post: About my day

Hey steemians. It's been a long while. Been so busy with exams. Finally done. Thank God for the success. So today, I'll tell you about how I spent my day.

I woke up 8am thanks to the chill weather 😌. It was a beautiful cold morning. I worked out, had my bath. I skipped breakfast as I didn't have the appetite to eat and also I was traveling..

I left the house around 10am and headed to Peace park, ABA.
On getting to the park at "Asa road" I purchased ticket for a bus going to Nsukka. I located my bus and picked a seat close to the door as we were allowed to sit anywhere..

Aba this morning.

I waited for about 1hr and some minutes for my bus to get filled up😓.
I was so tired.. We were 10 passengers in the bus and then the manager thought the bus should be loaded so we begin the journey.
While I was waiting for my bus to get full, I was thirsty and walked outside the park to go search for people who sold water and drinks as I couldn't find any in the park at that moment. On getting outside, a tricycle (keke napep) hit a barrow filled with drinks being pushed by a teenager. It was annoying though but the tricycle driver was wise enough to stop and assist the young boy in packing the drink back into the barrow..

Well, the workers finally decided to load my bus and from nowhere I started seeing heavy heavy luggages and I'm wondering "I'm I supposed to to seat in an over loaded bus?"

Well, I just watched as they packed goods behind the bus and in the bus. Man, I was speechless as the bus became so full at some point.

Such overloading 🤦

I realised I just had to fit in somehow, although that was after airing my opinion on the fact that they over loaded the bus and that it wasn't in anyway safe for anyone in the bus..

My journey began by 11:59am.
We left the park and began heading for Nsukka.
We stopped severally for either bus check by the company workers or by security officials.
We arrived University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) by 3:26pm and some passagers came down to stretch, pee or buy things, as the driver himself highlighted to sign something or so.

I finally arrived nsukka park around 4:35pm.
Went straight to Joy's restaurant to get bitterleaf and egusi soup with semo😂😁🤭

Good food🤤

Also I entered ogige market to get nails for a customer who needed it.

I got to the house by 6:15pm.
I ate, charged my phone, listened to music, used the internet and slept a while.
Woke up around 9:20pm, fetched water and cooked beans for dinner 😂.
Finished cooking by 10:40pm. Don't worry I didn't eat beans. I had tea instead. So I'll eat beans tomorrow 😋.
Now I'm about to go to bed as I'm done for the day and I'll have a busy day tomorrow..
