THE DIARY GAME SEASON 3|| JANUARY 6th 2021|| THE JOURNEY FROM LAGOS TO ILESHA (OSUN STATE)

Hello everyone, Today diary game post is going to be a travel journal as i am leaving Lagos for Osun State, Ilesha to be precised. Myself, @harbysco and my uncle Saheed.

We set out for the journey at 5:00AM, we already packed up our loads yesterday night (the night before). The journey lasted for 6 hours. We are to leave Agbado, to Ojodu Bergar where we will take a car to Ibadan (Oyo State), then another ride to Ilesha (Osun State).

We got to Ojodu Bergar at 8:10AM and boarded a car to Ibadan. As usual, we would hit traffic on the expressway and yes, we did at Mowe.

As we continued the journey, I saw workers working on the expressway. The Lagos Ibadan Expressway has been on continuous repair gor over 15 years. I wonder why a country would take such a long time to repair/reconstruct a major expressway. The road has been under repair since the days of President Olusegun Obasanjo and it is still in repair during the reigns of President Muhammadu Buhari. I just hope it gets completed soon although i doubt it as those in power are only using this project to syphon money from government pulse.

We got to Ibadan at 10:02AM and picked a car to Ilesha (Osun State) from the car park.

The Journey from Ibadan to Ilesha took about 2 hours and the trip was fun. When we arrived ilesha, the first thing we did was eat somethimg as we were famished.

We arrived Ilesha safely and I enjoyed every bit of the Journey. The Journey would have to continue tomorrow as we are going to Ondo State for a burial ceremony but ilesha is a good stop.
