The Diary Game: DAY 9 | 09 August 2020, Sunday: The Portable Coffee Maker

Due to the COVID situation worldwide, our office pantry is closed following the guidelines from the Government to keep everyone safe. And to that, the access to water, tea and heating of food is unreachable. I really have no problem with it because they are providing unlimited supply of free bottled water and as of eating my lunch, I can have it in our cabin though my food can’t be heated ☹. But for my colleagues who love Coffee and Tea a lot, they were struggling.

As I walk my way to the reception, I happen to pass by at my colleagues’ desk and I was shocked to see her making coffee. Yes, you read it right! She brought a portable coffee maker in the office and she makes coffee for herself. I watched her make a coffee and I was smiling crazily watching the brilliant tiny machine makes coffee. Like how can this tiny thing do it? Our coffee machine in the pantry is huge and seeing how tiny this coffee machine making coffee, I can’t help but to congratulate Nescafe for manufacturing this “heaven sent” machine as told by my colleague.

Me as a non-coffee drinker was amazed by her idea. I even suggested her to sell her coffee to those who wants to drink 😊. She has variety of flavors as well to choose. She told me that there are people who can’t last a day without drinking a coffee like her that’s why she bought this machine even if it costed her. This portable coffeemaker can be used during camping, long drives or anywhere you want to place it.

As I watched her happily drinking her coffee, I thought to myself that if I am one of those coffee addicts, I will be doing the same thing but luckily, I am no fan of coffee. No need for an extra expenses. LOL. 😊
