The Diary Game: DAY 2 | 02 August 2020, Sunday: The Seafood Birthday Treat
I hope you had a great day today everyone! I am happy to join the #thediarygame thanks to @steemitblog and the team for this initiative. I will be writing the highlight of my day on a daily basis and I’m crossing my fingers that I will be able to finish this game with a big AHOOOOOO!
Today is the last day of the Islamic holiday and my morning started the same as usual. Doing household chores for few hours, finished reading the book I am reading and did the grocery.
As today is the birthday of my sister-in-law, I decided to treat her for dinner in a Seafood Resto. She’s keep on telling me that she’s missing home and this pandemic happened that worsened her homesickness. Trust me, I do understand her situation as I did experience before what she is experiencing now. And I decided to make her even just a lil happy, I told her that we will be going out.
I brought her to Dampa Seafoods Restaurant. And yes, she is happy. She said, she never experienced eating at a seafood resto before as it is quite a bit pricey. I simply told her to never mind the price and just enjoy the foods we ordered.
The Interior Design of the Restaurant
After months of staying and eating home cooked meals due to the forced temporary closure of the restaurants in the City triggered by the pandemic, this is our first time to eat outside again. Though I’m a bit paranoid to eat outside due to corona, but we were assured that the restaurant followed the government instructions to maintain social distancing, having limited people enter the place, body temperature check and proper sanitation.
So, we ordered this seafood bucket in a cajun sauce. Mind you, the taste is so good. She told me that this is the best cooked seafood sauce she has ever tasted.
It is best to serve the foods Boodle Fight way & eat it using your hands AKA, FILIPINO way. 😊
With our love to seafood, we enjoyed a lot eating the heavenly food. And I just wish that the no allergy will appear tonight. LOL
As to my sister-in-law, she loved this small dinner for her birthday. And I am happy that I somehow make her feel that way.

Belated happy birthday to your sis-in-law! And wow! Seafoods! I missed the go-to restaurant located near the university I was working with before. The resto name is Boodle Fight. Sarap talaga kumakain nang nakakakamay.
