THE DIARY GAME:9/8/2020: A GLORIOUS SUNDAY

Dear Diary,

It's a beautiful Sunday morning, the sky looks bright and beautiful. I woke up so early so as to get to church on time.
By 5am, the alarm rang and I quickly jumped out of the bed to take my bath. As soon as I finished bathing, I went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast. I ate bread and hot tea. Immediately I finish eating, I started dressing up for church, As a chorister we do put on choir uniform.

As soon as I finish dressing up, I dash out of the house around 6:30am. As a worker, I have to get to church on time because worker's prayer starts by 7am. As a worker, it is compulsory to attend the workers prayer. The worker's prayer commences before the church service.

Luckily for me this morning, My neighbour was about driving out when i came out of my apartment. He was about going to church as well so he decided to give me a lift and drove me to church.

I arrived church at exactly 6:50am, Most worker's are already available at the church premises. The worker's prayer commences around 7am and ended 7:30am. After the worker's prayer the church service commence immediately which include Sunday school,Praise and worship session, prayer, choir ministration and lots more. I really enjoyed the Sunday school class, it was so lively and interactive. Today's church service was powerful and I was really blessed.
The church service ended at 11am and i got home around 11:40am.

Amala and okro soup

On getting home, I was so hungry, so I went straight to the kitchen to prepare amala and okro soup. Amala is mostly eaten by the western part of Nigeria i.e. the yoruba tribe.
It is so delicious and tasty.

After eating, I decided to rest and chat up friends on social media. When it was 9pm, I ate my dinner and went to my room to have a wonderful night rest.
