Me no selfish
Many people misunderstand the real meaning of such messages. The person who wrote it does not mean to say that private property should be given up but that the natural riches should be enjoyed by all instead of being sold or destroyed in the name of modern development and expansion.
Modern lifestyles are not exactly rewarding at all in the real sense of the word. There is an increasing lack of tolerance, crime, and unhappiness.
The man should learn to love and care more instead of trying to be selfish and manipulative. Greed and dishonesty will destroy not only the person who has these but also the ones whom he influences. So, be careful in choosing your friends

Earth is everyone's treasure, it's a shared HOME :( Here in Spain, Government years ago put a tax on the SUN, a tax on clean free energy... can you imagine that!? not all is fair in the name of greed!)
Thats alarming. A tax on the solar energy. Crazy.
yes, it says a lot about the greed of politicians :(
There was a song that had a similar message, but they said that we borrowed the Earth from our children, and our children's children. Either has same meaning really, but thought i'd share.

Thank you for sharing it.
Highly Resteemed...
Thank you so much
Agree completely.
It pains me, and always has, to see our own government act so irresponsibly in allowing megacorporations to extract all they can from our planet, in the name of greed and avarice, while polluting massively all over the world.
Karma will come home to roost, and it won't be pretty. Let's hope that this impeachment and its fallout allow us as a nation to thoroughly clean house in government and jail those who have habitually sold our resources to the highest bidder.
It's well past time to do so.

Thanks dear
Government may change, will change; but the lobbyists with literally millions in their pockets will still be there opposing restrictions on fossil fuels and subsidization of solar power, favoring private colleges over public institutions and soaring flyovers over monorail.
If we follow what the founders wanted, and get rid of ALL political parties, and once again make bribery in politics a crime, the lobbyists will go the way of all things.
And no, unfortunately, I'm not expecting to see this in my lifetime, but I can still dream.
The English language is based in trade. In essence the title of this post is dehumanizing and hurtful. From my perspective as a person who has had their language labeled as extinct.
The private ownership of property is the only thing which grants a person rights under the constitution. As it was once written that would not include any women, blacks or "merciless indian savages."
To be clear under certain families interpretation of that constitution no one but a select few families who arrived on certain ships are entitled to rights under the constitution. The rest of us can only be slaves.

Native Americans were only allowed to practice their religion legally after 1978.
How is that for religious freedom? 200 years of your religious beliefs being outlawed. In the land of the free...
Love this one @sayee. Choosing friends is difficult in today's world. SO many privileges are taken for granted and people feel entitled to them.
Thank you dear
