Well it took a little while but @rewards-pool would like to make its introduction to The Alliance community. I recognize a lot of members from the SteemSilverGold community so its nice to see a few familiar faces around.
I wanted to do a little giveaway to meet with people and see what The Alliance is all about.

I could name so many people, but... Right now one of our own is going through a difficult time. She's been taking care of her mom and away from her home and schedule and could really use 2 weeks of special treatment! She is quick to help other family members, but not just them! She helps so many people on the platform, is quick to laugh (and her laugh is INFECTIOUS!!), and is quick to love!

Frankly speaking my lovely Fambam #thealliance is full of talented Steemian whose contribution on Steem is always appreciable. ...its pretty hard to choose one.be it @enginewitty or @saffisara, @thekittygirl @snook @coff33a or anyone else...if I got a chance I would have name all of them.....
But if choosing a particular alliance member, then for her all round approach and talent I would choose for @katrina-ariel (our own princes ) from singing, to yoga, to writer. She is complete package in every aspect. Whatever she took, she does it perfectly.....her contribution to our family is always unquestionable....

Okay, first of all, thanks for shining a spotlight on @thealliance. This family has made the last year of my life more joyful. I feel like I belong, as odd as I am, and there is always a friend there to listen when I need it, to encourage me as an artist, and to remind me that simply being myself is the best thing I can do. Such a gift! I'm so grateful I found the Alliance during my first month on Steem.
As for nominations, many amazing people have already been named:
@snook, who is the big sister I never had, @saffisara, who somehow seems to leave a sweet comment on every one of my posts, @jackmiller and @thehive, who have become residents in the castle voice channel, always there for a laugh or a story...
There's @dreemsteem, whose cheer and enthusiasm comes through in everything she does, @steemflow, who was kind enough to nominate me here and is a pro at getting around to many posts and leaving thoughtful comments, and @shadowspub, who has been instrumental in helping this community grow closer by facilitating PYPT and much more.
A special shout out to @enginewitty, who somehow finds enough time to read a gazillion posts every day, comment on them, and orchestrate who-knows-how-many-things in the background. I've had the distinct pleasure of spending time with him in person at three meetups now, and he's become one of my closest friends. What Snook and Saffisara said about the way Witty encourages us to be who we are is one of the reasons I have such respect for him. He's also a witness, which many people don't realize.
Speaking of, I see this account has witness votes to spare, so might I suggest voting for some witnesses in the Alliance family? @enginewitty, @jackmiller, @c0ff33a, @ura-soul, and @guiltyparties are some of my top picks!
Yes, I advocate for my favourite witnesses on a regular basis. ;)
As for nominating one person for this fabulous offer, I'd suggest @crescendoofpeace, who I've also had the treat of meeting in person and who certainly feels like family to me. She puts a lot of heart and thought into her posts, and always has a kind word to share. To give you an idea of how much she cares about others, she donated much of the rewards from her posts last year to charity. Such a lovely woman.

You immediately felt like family to me, and in fact upon meeting and spending time with you, it felt like I'd already known you for years.
And of course, everyone I met in Georgia felt like family, which is especially amazing when you consider that not only was I meeting everyone for the first time, but there were several I hadn't even interacted with yet on Steemit, but that just didn't seem to matter.
And right here in these comments is what I love the most about the Alliance; because here we are, all happily nominating each other, notwithstanding that we may be eliminating ourselves from the challenge in so doing, as a rising tide does indeed lift all boats.
@enginewitty has truly brought together an eclectic and diverse group of souls into the mix, but in my experience what we all have in common is that we are thinking, thoughtful people, passionate and strongly opinionated, fallible and self-effacing, but at the same time kind, generous, and more than willing to listen, rather than just half-listening in order to formulate our own comments.
This kind of consideration for others, while it used to be more commonplace, has never been a given in any interaction, which is why I so appreciate the wonderful souls I've connected with here. Not to mention that, all in all, we're often a pretty hilarious clan.
Thanks again, @rewards-pool, for hosting this challenge, and for giving us the opportunity and excuse to show our love for one another publicly. Too often we think that others know how we feel, but there's nothing like saying it out loud, or in print, to remove all doubt. ;-)

I should note that this response is my fourth attempt.
The first time, Partiko choked and I got an error about something being too long, even though it was a scant five paragraphs. Repeated attempts did nothing.
Next, while trying to send it from my laptop, it unexpectedly shut down. Twice. After the second time, I figured it was the Universe telling me to get some sleep, so that's what I did.
Ah, the joys of technology. So prayers for all of us that our tech works, every time, and doesn't leave us stranded. ;-)

There are tons of people I can nominate for this, but I'll try to keep the list short. I know some stackers that are long time members of the SSG like Ed and Blackbeard and GA that are probably already members of this. They're the ones that coaxed my pirate flag to surface and gave me the itch. I've also melded my fam into the clan nominating and seconding various peeps like @Katrina-ariel and @theKittygirl. I met one of favs in SSG, @eaglespirit and she came to my fam too.
I could go on with a list including names like Jack and Snook and Saffisara and TheHive. I could list some originals that came in when I first started the fam like @thedamus and @tattoodjay. I could go into some new faces that have shown amazing strides to support their new found fam like @monchhichi23, @dreemsteem and @bluefinstudios. I could even go into fabulous long time members that I've grown alongside like @shadowspub and recently her sister, @artemisnorth. And believe me, I can name at least a hundred more!
But
I feel this should be awarded to someone that really needs it. Someone perhaps overlooked for their commitment and efforts. So I have a list of
threefive that I feel deserve it most-@latino.romano - he has been with us almost a year and along with @mariannewest, helped to grow the @freewritehouse by posting in Spanish every day. He is a die hard and I love his commitment!
@crisangel - a very giving soul that has been helping with various charities like @youarehope and the @ropavajero project. Like Roman, he is also bilingual and has been overlooked I feel as a major contributor to the fam and chain.
@crescendoofpeace - I actually met Cori and aside from her posts being incredible, she is a total sweetheart also helping out with a few charities.
@tygertyger - She doesn't have a huge amount of SP, but still supports us. She also has a beautiful knack for staying positive despite some rough health struggles she has and I admire her for that.
@janton - It's hard to admit there are people that can keep up with me in the comment department, but this guy is just amazing and I see him out there everywhere with myself and @c0ff33a. Highly undervalued steempeep.

Wow that is a hard one as there are so many amazing people in alliance that I love and look up to.
But if I need to pick one I have to say @enginewitty.. Why?
Because it was his vision of #thealliance that brought me here.
The big heart and family feeling that REALLY is REAL ❤️
The engagement and support is mind blowing.
And ever since I joined @enginewitty has stayed true to his vision and he is remarkable in his way of supporting us and being as busy as he is, still has time to check up on us and that shows on great leadership.
I don't know how he does it all but I admire him and are grateful to be a part of this #thealliance ❤️

Hehehheeh well you definitely need to meet him now 😊 I'm so shocked there is anyone who doesn't know @enginewitty's name! Hehehe it's a big Steemiverse but he's a big personality! He was one of the first people to genuinely support me on the platform. What I remembered most about him is that he was a witness, but didn't flaunt it. He was so humble that it took me months to realize that he was a witness!!! Fun, caring, compassionate, loyal.... All his very best qualities ♥️

Thank you so much for pointing the spotlight at the Alliance. It is one of the best families here on Steem. I read through all the comments on this post and can only second what everyone has been saying.
So many of the members are going above and beyond with their support of the fam. Let's take @c0ff33a for example. He works a lot, puts up huge posts and goes and comments on so many posts that I don't even know if he ever sleeps.
Or sweet @saffisara who was the team leader with @topkpop in the alphasyndicate when I first joined and was and is always helpful, supportive and fun.
Some have been friends from before alliance days like @snook who quickly became a core member and supporter of the fam - because that is how she is!
Others have become RL friends like the super fun @dreemsteem ❤️
All of them deserve upvotes and so many others I haven't mentioned here.
But the one person who holds it all together and is spending tremendous time (and not getting many rewards for it) is our fearless leader @enginewitty.
He so much deserves all the upvotes out there... He really should be a whale by now for all the effort he has given to the fam and the platform.

Oh sure, all the ones I was going to pick have been chosen already, but I want to elaborate on @saffisara. She puts a lot of time and work into her posts. They are witty, interesting, and they have a genuine authenticity that make them fun to read. Not only that, but she's consistent. No long breaks away from Steem (unlike me 😅). She's also part of @thewelcomewagon, which helps new users.
Her encouraging, engaging, nonjudgmental, and positive nature make her one of #thealliance's greatest assests. I say with my whole heart that we would not be even close to being the same if she wasn't around. 🤗
On another note, I'm considering the 250 delegation to be part of this. Not sure yet, but maybe. Or maybe the 3 Steem instead when I get the next payout just to see how it goes idk. The SP in my account isn't making much of an impact though - what with dustvotes on comments and .01 on posts.
