Hi @sultnpapper ... Yes, because of the culture in the UAE, ladies and men usually sit on separate tables inside the same classroom. But if it's a theater style seating, they can sit next to each other.
I pretty much though that to be the case, I was surprised though about the theater style seating though, doesn't make much sense to me then on why there would be a difference when it comes to tables.
The difference is round tables are considered to be a closer form of seating with a number of people making a group. The theater style is more a public and open way of seating, where all the audience are facing one way (the speaking stage) versus facing each other.
