Tags on Steemit
We're going to start here as it was requested several times - what are some good and fun tags on Steemit? I know I won't remember them all, and will most likely have to come back and edit this a few times before payout as people mention this, that, or the other and I have to include it/them. So, I'm simply going to make a list of ones I am aware of and perhaps participated in with some extra space to add others. This will not include contest specific tags, but, some challenges, community tags and randomness. Hope some of you enjoy using them!
- #thealliance - obviously my favorite, one I started to assist in curating family members' posts
- #haturday - started by @saffisara to highlight hats. Because hats are frig'n cool.
- #youarehope - similar to #thealliance, used to signify a post relating to the charity ran by fellow witness @sircork
- #tarc - though not very popular yet, one I am encouraging people to use that make posts relating to the rescue efforts of @rhondak
- #sublimesunday - one started by @c0ff33a to give people the freedom of a random sunday post
- #bridgesoftheworld - started by @tattoodjay to showcase the magnificence of that kind of architecture
- #freewrite - started by @mariannewest (@freewritehouse) to curate her daily prompts for people
- #steemitnamechallenge - created by @felobtc to give people a story behind usernames
- #whysoserious - a curative tag from @dumar022 to focus on humorous posts from his account @whysoserious
- #loveitshoveit - created by @snowpea to get to know your friends and followers better
- #teamgood - a curative tag started by @battleaxe for people desiring to 'fight the good fight' on Steemit
- #shoutoutsaturdays - started by @crazybgadventure to encourage people to share their Steemit week
- #inspiredby - started by poet @rumplestiltskin to facilitate that the post was 'inspired by' another person's post
- #steemsilvergold - this is the community tag for stackers of the shiny
- #fiberartists - started by @artemisnorth to curate artwork from 'fiber artists'
- #mydailypost - from @sol25 and @leyargoz to curate photography across the platform
- #marketfriday - A friday tag started by @dswigle to show off what you found at the market
- #chartyourcourse - designed by @dreemsteem to help people become goal oriented and assist people in their pursuits (I have been tagged by this one and it is on my list @robertandrew)
- #theluvbug - started by @theluvbug to give people something to help motivate themselves and others (I have been tagged and will get to it @eaglespirit)
- #funkyedits - a tag created by @krazypoet and honed by @tattoodjay as a way to show off picture edits with style
- #whalepower - supposed to summon random whales to check out your posts
- #steemusa - tag to sign a Steem USA member post
- #thesteemengine - post relative to the curation of The STEEM Engine ran by @ethandsmith with help from @enchantedspirit and @catweasel
- #introduceyourelf/ #introducemyself - used to say hello to Steemit for newer or unannounced users
- #steemgigs - where people can promote their work and offer their skills to get work (thanks @malos10)
- #caturday - not sure who started it, but a tag for Saturday posts about Cats :)
- #treetuesday - think it may have been @old-guy-photos that started this, but it's just what it says it is
- #ladiesofsteemit - a curation tag used by @ameliabartlett to notate vocalization of females on the platform
- #steemsugars - believe this may be one that @beanz uses and created for a women's curative community
- #cemeteryphotos - by @melinda010100 to display pictures of cemeteries
- #medicinecardmonday - a tag just started by @eaglespirit to align posts to her medicine cards
- #wednesdaywalk - another of @tattoodjay's creations to give people a reason to 'excercise' their thoughts on a post about a walk they take on wednesdays

I invite you drop your tag down there in the comments. I have left a few spaces up there to add others as I remember and come across them. This is by far not a complete list of all the ones out there, but hopefully enough to get you a good start on searching for something interesting. I mean, let's face it, the trending page is horrid and finding something that's actually worth your time could take hours of searching. STeem oN my peoples!

Dropped my bacon sandwich at this one
Hat's are cool, and so are the people wearing them. So many tags to keep track of though, I have to be honest though, by far my favourite is #MarketFriday by @dswigle - the posts produced from this tag are stunning every single week - it's a pure joy to scroll down the tag every week and discover a new place or experience someone cares to share.
And of course thank you most Kindly for including my little tag #SublimeSunday - I'm always surprised how many people join in and it works so well as an indulgence tag to post just what you want to post - instead of what you feel obliged to post to keep up appearances 🙌🏽
