Thanks hun, we def are closer knit than most families. We love our tech, but still take time to breathe :)

That is awesome. Your kids and your relationships with flourish with taht kind of time and attention.

We have raised five kids (now ages 17-26) and we are all still very close. My kids still go out and do things together. We have family game nights most Fridays. I see my kids multiple times a week and we're all still close and talk about everything. I loved raising kids and enjoyed every step of the way. It is SO awesome to see someone enjoying this stage of the journey. It brings back great memories! :)

Awesome. We tried the family game night thing with the older ones but it didn't work out so well. We're all pretty competitive so feelings got hurt :P

Ha! I have some of the most competitve kids in the world. We never did game nights when they were younger as much (although the kids played incessantly themselves). Now days we mostly play games that are just fun and not really much about winning (Cards Against Humanity, Telestrations... I can't even remember the names of most of them!). We will play group games like Guesstures and Taboo, but its much easier to take a loss when you have a team. Plus, they're all adults now, so it is a little more sane! :) And a lot more inappropriate!
