This looks like a very good process.
Do you think your system could be replicated to work in other languages as well?
Onboarding new users in the coming weeks and months will be a big focus for us too.
All ideas for that are welcome.
Is WhereIN doing any promotional / marketing campaigns at present?

Yes, the system can be replicated to work in other languages but some modifications needed. The code is open source: https://github.com/steem-guides/cn-hello, created by @robertyan, one of our @cn-witnesses members.
WhereIN just started some events in CN community. Hope these events will get more users into steem.
