Rainy day

Assalamu Alaikum, today is August 21, 2020. The sound of torrential rain sound woke me up. If you notice during the rain we sleep more. Waking up and rushing to respond to the call of nature (Toilet). I washed my hands and face well, In the table i was waiting for the breakfast to come. I was reading Daily News paper in this waiting time. My heart cried when I saw pictures soaked in human blood in newspapers. বৃষ্টির দিন আসসালামু আলাইকুম, আজকে ২১ আগস্ট 2020 সাল। টাপুর টুপুর বৃষ্টি বৃষ্টির শব্দে আমার ঘুম ভেঙ্গে গেল। আপনার যদি নোটিশ করেন বৃষ্টির সময় ঘুম বেশি হওয়ার কথা। ঘুম থেকে উঠেই প্রকৃতির ডাকে সাড়া দিতে ছোটাছুটি। ভালোভাবে হাত মুখ ধুয়ে নিলাম, অপেক্ষা করছি কখন টেবিলে নাস্তা আসবে? এই ফাঁকে পত্রিকা পড়ছিলাম। পত্রিকায় মানুষের রক্তে ভেজা ছবি দেখে মনটা কেঁদে উঠলো। ২১ আগস্ট ২০০৪ সালের, বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর উপর গ্রেনেড হামলা হয়েছিল, অনেকেই মারা গেছে।

After a while Apa came to the table with breakfast. The chicken sandwich for breakfast this morning, was very tasty. The white is still on the face. Getting ready for the office, coming out with an umbrella didn’t seem to stop the rain and Friday is a holy day for Muslims, actually a holy day every day but today’s dignity for our Jumma prayers on Friday is a little more than any other day.

একটু পর আপা টেবিলের সকালের নাস্তা নিয়ে আসলো। আজকে সকালের নাস্তায় চিকেন স্যান্ডউইচ, খুবই সুস্বাদু ছিল। সাদটা এখনো মুখে লেগে আছে। অফিসের জন্য তৈরি হলাম, একটা ছাতা নিয়ে বের হলাম মনে হচ্ছিল না বৃষ্টি থামবে এবং শুক্রবার মুসলমানদের জন্য একটি পবিত্র দিন, আসলে প্রতিদিনই পবিত্র দিন কিন্তু শুক্রবারে আমাদের জুম্মার নামাজ এর জন্য আজকের দিনের মর্যাদা অন্যদিনের চেয়ে একটু বেশি।

There was not much work on the umbrella so I reached the office very wet. The boss will not come to the office today so the entire responsibility of the office remained on me. I don't get too busy on Fridays. After half an hour I went to pray. After that I just went to the office and went home, so today is called half day service in the office.

ছাতায় খুব একটা কাজ হচ্ছিল না তাই অনেকটা ভিজেই অফিসে পৌছালাম। অফিসে বস আজকে আসবে না তাই অফিসের পুরা দায়িত্ব আমার উপর রইল। শুক্রবারে এমনিতেই খুব একটা বেশি ব্যস্ত থাকি না। অর্ধেক বেলার পরেই চলে যাই নামাজ পড়তে। এরপর জাস্ট অফিসে উপস্থিত হয়ে বাসায় চলে যাই এজন্য মোটামুটি আজকের দিনটা অফিসে হাফ ডে সার্ভিস বলা চলে হাফ।

I have to go to the mosque to perform the Friday prayers at noon, so I hurriedly got everything done. After the prayers, Aslam returned to the office and talked to the boss twice. He gave some instructions on the phone and I went home after working like that. Wet in a kind of rain, I came back home again. I came home and took a bath, I don't know if the fever comes again, I can't stand the rain again.

দুপুরে জুম্মার নামাজ পড়তে মসজিদে যেতে হবে তাই একটু তড়িঘড়ি করি সব কাজ সেরে নিলাম। নামাজ পড়ে আবার অফিসে ফিরে আসলাম বসের সাথে দুবার কথা হলো। ফোনে তিনি ফোনে কিছু নির্দেশনা দিলেন সেভাবে কাজ করে বাসায় চলে আসলাম। এক রকম বৃষ্টিতে ভিজে আবার বাসায় ফিরে আসলাম। বাসায় এসে গোসল করে নিলাম, জানিনা আবার জ্বর এসে যায় কিনা আমার তো আবার বৃষ্টি তেমন একটা সহ্য হয় না।

Although there are still a few hours left until the end of the day but I see the post a little earlier to see if there is any change in the post today.

যদিও আজকের দিনটি শেষ হতে আরো কয়েক ঘন্টা বাকি আছে কিন্তু আমি একটু আগেই পোস্ট দেখি, আজকে পোস্টে তেমন কোন পরিবর্তন আসে কিনা।আমি যে সময় সাধারণত পোস্ট পাবলিস্ট করি সে সময় আমার দেশের বন্ধুরা সবাই ঘুমিয়ে থাকে।
