Dear diary,

A cold Tuesday morning, it didn't rain but it is cold out here, it is 8:21 am, my roommate Michael had woken up early and he is in the kitchen, I love it when he wakes up early.
I knew he was up to something good, I could perceive the sweet aroma of fried eggs, here he comes with breakfast in bed for me, he always tries to go out of his way to make me happy.

After finishing up breakfast by 10:30 am I was too weak to just leave the bed and we have plans on going to the zoo later in the day.
A call came in again from Wisdom that due to the public holiday we can't go to the zoo because they are not open for service.
I was both angry and frustrated that plans just keep breaking down even as the economy is gradually opening up but we didn't allow that bring us down, we immediately sat down to discuss and we agreed on going out for a swim.
we got to the park by 14:00 hours, and we soon settled in, the place was nicer than we had imagined and we couldn't just wait to see all that they had to offer, we started by snapping pictures and that took quite a while.

I made friends at the pool and it was so awesome, we did a competition and I did win but there was no real prize attached, the winner only got the bragging rights.
I went with my roommate of course but this was his first time visiting the pool, I had to not only adult-sit him, I was always looking out for him just in case.

I know he had fun because he did not want to leave the water, he did say he would love to get a pool in his house when he starts earning real-time money, the water was clean and it wasn't chlorinated, they built the pool in a way where old water leaves and new water comes in as people are swimming.
the prices of their commodity there was very expensive and we didn't budget for that.
the whole day was fun and exciting, I wish every day was like this.
we headed home by 18:00 hours, we talked for a long while and we were all thankful we went out.
soon after we arrived home Michael went into the kitchen and made some pancakes, we slept off talking about random things.
