The story of the Soleh's Child and the Cow
Al-Baghawi recounted to the recitation participants, among the Children of Israel there was a pious man, He had a child and a calf. Toward the day of his death, the man releases the calf in a forest while praying. "O my Lord, I leave this calf for my son until he is great"
Illustrasi: #
The prayer of this man was granted by Allah SWT. After he died, the calf never went out of the forest and always hid away from others. Once the boy is an adult, he dedicates himself to his mother. He works to find wood for sale and then sold in the market. The results were divided into three pieces, one part for alms, one part to eat, and the last for his mother. He also divides his night time into three, one third of malan to worship, another third to sleep, and a third again to wait with his mother.
#One day his mother said, "Surely your father left a calf for you who was released in a forest, and found the ox while praying to his Lord the Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Ismail, Prophet Ishaq, and Prophet Ya''qub so He would return the calf to you.
Go the young man into the forest, and find the cow in question. Then he said, "For the sake of the Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Isma'il, Prophet Ishaq, and Prophet Ya''qub, calm you there."
The ox approached the young man and said, "Hey young man to his mother," said the oxen. "Raise me up to be light for you." The child said, "Actually my mother did not order me on you, but took you home."
"For the sake of the God of Israel," the oxen said, "If you ride on me (meaning not obeying his mother's commands), you will not be able to take me forever, so walk, for surely you command a mountain to walk on your own, it will be purely for your mother's sake. "
Upon arriving home, his mother said, "My son you are a pauper, have no treasure, are hard-earned for firewood, so sell this bull." His mother told the boy to sell the bull to the market for three dinars.
So the boy went to the market. Then God sends an angel to show His power and tell the devotion of the young man to his mother to his creature.
"How much dinar do you sell this ox," asked the angel.
"Three dinars, and I make a covenant to you with my mother's consent," replied the young man.
"take these six denarii, and seek your mother's approval", persuaded the angel.
"Even if you give me this gold of bulls, I will not accept it except with my mother's pleasure".
The young man came home, and told him that their ox had been offered six dinars.
"Come back to the market, and sell the oxen with six denarii for my pleasure," his mother commanded.
#The young man returned to the market.
"Have you asked for your mother's approval?" Asked the angel.
"My mother ordered me to sell this ox not out of six dinars," said the young man.
"I will give you twelve dinars, do not ask your mother for approval," persuaded the angel again.
The young man returns to his mother and informs him of this offer. The mother said, "The one who comes to you is an angel, who is incarnate in a human form to test you, and if he returns to you ask: will you let me sell this ox or not?"
The young man did everything his mother ordered. Finally the angel said, "Go home and tell your mother to take care of this cow is good .. Later Moses bin" Imran will buy the bull from you, because there is someone who is killed from the Bani IUntuk do not sell, except with the money of dinar the weight of your ox. "
The young man came home and took good care of the ox. Soon Allah Almighty predestined the Children of Israel to slaughter an ox *. Then they repeatedly asked the Prophet Moses a. explain the properties of the ox that will be slaughtered. So finally the young man's oxen is eligible. And it all happened solely because of the charity of the young man's devotion to his mother.
