Get to the Freedom Island where the statue stands with the phrases and then climb to the crown at the top of the statue using the stairs. From this point visitors of the Statue of Liberty can enjoy a panoramic view of New York Bay and its surroundings.
Visitors to the Statue of Liberty can get to know its history by visiting the Museum at the base of the Statue. The torch has been closed to the public since 1916, and the Statue of Liberty reaches more than three million people a year.
