10 . Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes are a Southern staple at almost every Sunday dinner! But especially at the holidays! The creamy butteriness is a great compliment to your dry turkey or ham!
9 . Corn Casserole

This could be a new edition to your Thanksgiving menu. The early Pilgrims probably used maze, but our familiy prefers creamed corn, sour cream, and butter, baked to a delicious golden masterpiece.
8 . Rolls

Who doesn't love rolls? Rolls are excellent for soaking up the extra gravy on your plate! And you can never get enough carbs!
7 . Green Beans

Green beans are a great savory side dish. See that alliteration there? Anyways, Green Beans being a green vegetable are a nice healthy addition to your Thanksgiving meal.

Gravy is the icing on cake(or ketchup for me). It goes well with anything, mashed potatoes, rolls, turkey, you name it! It makes everything taste better!

Cranberry sauce is a sauce made out of cranberries. Hence the name "Cranberry Sauce". Cranberry sauce has always been a tradition in American and British Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners/meals. Fun Fact: Cranberry sauce in Europe tends to be slightly sour unlike in North America where it tends to be sweet.

Sweet Potato casserole has always been a favorite of mine and a part of my family tradition! Sweet potato casserole is a nice alternative to mashed potatoes due to the butter and brown sugar.

There could be a tie between Pumpkin pie and Turkey for most traditional item on your Thanksgiving table! The pumpkin is a symbol of fall and the small ones make the best pies! The spice in the Pumpkin pie adds a little spice to its flavor! Coolwhip or icecream and a Cup of Coffee go great with this traditional Thanksgiving delicacy.
2 . Stuffing/Dressing

Stuffing a.k.a dressing is a filling. Have you ever heard someone coin the term "stuff the turkey" or "dress the turkey" that is what they are talking about. The main reason of stuffing the Turkey is pretty old. People believe that the turkey was stuffed so that the stuffing would cook inside the turkey, so that wouldn't have to cook it separately.
