รัฐบาลอินเดียพิจารณาตั้งกฏหมายคิดภาษี 18% บนการเทรดคริปโตเคอเรนซี่ ข่าวรายงานจาก Bloomberg กล่าวว่าคริปโตเคอเรนซี่อาจจะโดนภาษีเช่นเดียวกับสินค้าที่จับต้องไม่ได้ ถึงแม้ว่าคริปโตจะเป็นส่วนนึงของซอฟท์แวร์ โดยการใช้งานของคริปโตที่สอดคล้องกับกิจกรรมที่ผิดกฏหมายจะใช้กฏหมายอีกข้อในการกำกับ
