Thailand Is A Land Of Fruit

Hello everyone,

I’m a fruit lover. I miss Thai fruit living in Osaka, Japan. Japan’s fruit is expensive and you can only eat them during certain seasons. But you can eat fruit in Thailand any time and for a cheaper price.

When I visit Top’s supermarket, I always head to the fruit and vegetable corner first because I want to know what kind of fruit they are selling. Do they have my favorite fruit or not?

I have many favorite fruits, such as green mango, mangosteen, and durian. Actually, in the past you could only eat them in season, but now you can eat them anytime.

Some kinds of fruit you've probably never seen in your country. Look at the picture below.

This fruit is called Ma Prang and it looks like an egg. It is sweet and a little bit sour and it's only available from February to March.

The other reason I love Thai fruit is that the prices are reasonable. The vendors sell them per kilogram, whereas vendors in Japan don't.

Durian is the queen of fruits. I know many people dislike it because it has a strong smell but I'm not one of them. Don't knock it until you try it!

If you come to Thailand, don't forget to try Thai some fruit. I'm sure you'll like it.
