2ed event of Thailand trip (Floating Market) 🚤 😀🍜

We traveled by way of mini bus to Damonoen Saduak floating market. Trust me, hire a driver and experience Thailand in an air conditioned mini bus. You will not be disappointed and it dose not cost much when converted into US dollars. I think its close to $40 for an entire day of driving. Thats 1,280.96 when converted into Thai BHAT! In case you were wondering 20 BHAT could pay for 3 or 4 meals from a street vender.

to view the video from this event. We climbed into a brightly colored wooden boat. Moments later the buzz of what could only be described as a motorcycle engine broke the faint rumble of people talking in the background. Our heads snapped back as the hot Thailand air give way to a mini paradise. On either side of the water way were powerful buildings on stilts that looked over on us forming a slim hallway. Thai kids waved at us thru large windows cut in the stilted buildings. Then it all fell away when....

The buildings pealed back to reveal concrete boarders topped with hundreds of tourists. Most people looked at us with envy or was it extreme jealousy? I would like to know what you think in the comment section below. Just a slight ways from the concrete were loads of boats filled with food and souvenir vendors.

The air was full of succulent pork cooking to perfection nearby. It did not take long to find the source of the food. It was a older women. At the center of her boat was a small stove. We payed something like 5 BHAT for a bowl of pork boat noodles. It was out of this world, capturing that classic Thai food flavor of savory, tangy, and sweet.

After slurping down every last speck of those delicious boat noodles we needed to get something to wash it all down. The water way became packed with three boat lanes. It seemed like we bumped into every boat until we spotted the one that would quench our thirst!

The boat was full of green coconuts. I had never had the pleasure of drinking right out of a coconut. Our boat driver inched us closer. A claw snagged us and pulled us onward. At the other end of the claw was the coconut vender. The taste was invigorating. Im not a fan of coconut water back home in the US. This was nothing like the stuff that sold in stores in the US.
