Fun Weekend - Pattaya

Today is a national holiday in Thailand. My friend had a tough week and she wanted to clean her spirit =D She offered to visit Pattaya and get some rest. I said yes because there is no way to miss that adventure. This was my first beach trip in Thailand that's why I was quite excited.

On Saturday morning, we started our journey and I experienced the real Thailand transportations which were really fun and cheap. We used songthaew and van to go to Pattaya. It is around 2-3 hours trip cost us around $ 4 or 15 Turkish Liras.

About Pattaya

Pattaya is located east coast of Thailand.
We discovered Jomtien in Pattaya. I found Pattaya-Jomtien quite calm. Young generation population is quite a few (where we stay) which was good because we wanted to calm and chill weekend so that we can get some rest while enjoying our weekend without partying. (Our souls are old =D ) But foreigner population is quite high.

Basically, We met interesting people, eat delicious food, get some Thai massage and swim in 30-degree weather.
We rent a condo and we loved it. We had sea view also. For 3 days, we paid $ 45 or 175 Turkish Liras. Everything was well prepared and clean.


We loved the restaurant called Sandbar. People are generally so kind and helpful in Jomtien.

We tried a massage place called Thai Blind Massage Institute where sight-impaired people are the masseur. It was an interesting oil massage experience for us.


My favorite part is you get a massage on the beach.The price is about $ 10 or 300 Baht.

Everything went very well during the trip which was quite surprising and we had so much fun together.
Now time to turn back reality and work...

Cumartesi sabahı erkenden yola koyulduk. Bu sefer gerçek Tayland ulaşımını canlı canlı yaşadık. Küçük pickuplarin arkasına oturup püfür püfür yolculuk yapıyorsun. Pattaya' ya gitmek için 15 TL harcadık kişi bası ve yaklaşık 2- 3 saat surdu.
Pattaya Tayland’ın doğu kıyısında bulunan bana Antalya’yı anımsatan (her yer Rus) tatil bölgesi. Biz Jomtien’deydik 3 gün boyunca 15. katta bir ev kiraladık kişi bası yaklaşık 175 TL ve deniz manzaramız, havuz ve sahil. Biz bayıldık çünkü hem temiz hem de güzel hazırlanmıştı ayrıca çokta kibar davrandılar giriş- çıkış yaparken.
En sevdigim bölüm ise her yerde masaj bulabiliyorsunuz. Sahilde bile =D Türkiye'ye göre fiyatlar da bir o kadar ucuz. Bir saatlik masaj yaklasik $10 ot 35 TL civari.
Sandbar adındaki restorana bizim favorimiz oldu. Canlı müzik+ lezzetli yemekler+ tatlı isletme sahipleri

Bu gezi boyunca her şeyin yolunda gitmiş olması hiç bir aksilik yasamamız gerçekten şaşırtıcı. Sanırım uzun uzun planlamak yerine ani kararlar daha güzel geri donuyor.
