There so much drama around the USDT I think the subpoena is a good thing one way or another. They need to get the question of being being legit or a scam out of the way so we can all move on. Best case would be they prove they are really backed by the US dollar and everyone can be happy but even if its not we can finally stop the FUD and people can stop moving so much money around messing with the market.
It kinda does make sense that the U.S. would go after Tether. It's unfortunate timing though...it's just been a wave of FUD
was forced off of bitfinex last fall when they closed their doors to certain groups of people. I am going to be careful on this dip and by some of the stronger coins that are lower. Will prob choose between OMG, Binance Coin, and Pillar
