Tere are plenty of Teslas in Hong Kong, Macau & Guangzhou

Whether Macau, Hong Kong or in the Chinese Mainland the brand Tesla is becoming more and more popular.

I just managed to make a longer trip through the south part of China, I took my friends and we sifted through the People's Republic of China (PRC) with a few transportation possibilities, we've been using as well the private and semi private ones, and also those that are made for public purposes too.

Together with Naxlink

we visited the famous extremely, developed commerce-corner in the world: Pearl River Delta Megacities #Guangzhou, #Zhuhai, #Shenzhen but also #Macau, #HongKong and few more places that are influencing the economic development of the southern district.
[I want to share with you much more things, it will be found in the further parts just leave a comment]

We came from Berlin #TXL it took about 17 hours to #CAN, with a short stop in Beijing.
We took from Guangzhou to Zhuhai an Intercity High Speed Train, yes - exactly that one, that is also called as "the bullet train"and the fancy name comes because of its speed, its quite fast: 300-320kmh.

Did I mean quite fast? Yes, there are few faster versions on the market they reach up to 350km/h

#Fuxing #Hao - Tesla on rails

"Fuxing Hao" - the brand is building series of electric multiple unit high-speed trains operated by China Railway Corporation. But riding with that velocity you actually don't feel the speed, its like like you've been sitting encapsulated in a bullet and boom, the truth is you don't feel the tempo at all.

Zhuhai is well known as a border-city to Macau but this is connected with the different political and monetary systems view more @ one country, two systems.
The cars are wearing also two different register plates. BTW this is how the casino parking looks like.

But, what the hack ...

The traffic is also different than anywhere else in the mainland, also crossing the street is a way more complicated. Many motorbikes, narrow backstreets and the left side - English street rules, well it was a nice and unpredictable experience.

The next shock, when I came with the water transport from Macau to Hong Kong with the high-speed ferry called #TurboJet, was about what I saw in Hong Kong, it's like being in a vertical #Tesla city. Plenty of Teslas on the streets everywhere.

But a big deal for me was to face the smell and taste of Hong Kong, just drop a line if you are interested init.

I'm also mentioning a lot about the passing through the broad streets, those difficulties are when it comes to go from the one to the other side of the road - the traffic is crazy, no one stops if you are before, or even directly on a pedestrian crossing. Even when you got a green light - wait men ... and now Go!

After a few weeks in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai - the street crossing ritual is all the same, best case scenario you got green and no car is riding, no way, there is always a car riding, wrong deal mate :)

#Self-driving-cars

I'm wondering whether the autopilot 2 or some similar autonomous software will control over the streets, well it just takes time and i hope that in the near future the pedestrian issues will be solve by itself. I'm just wondering if its possible to launch these self-driving cars on Chinese roads and let them ride into heavy traffic can they do their programmed work? As I heard, Tesla's autopilot it's not that effective at the moment.

Moreover, I really felt very impressed for the stay in China for the whole semester. Absolutely a big salut for the fast development! Even when it comes to crossing the streets is still a nightmare for me, but I know the autonomous cars will take care.

Xie Xie 谢谢 中國 !

If you like that, let me know, critique is also fine!
