Colonizing Mars???? Who Tesla? WTF?????
Should a company extremely low on money be shooting cars up into space for fun?
People are wondering if spending increases will bankrupt Tesla, and the CEO is laughing about how cool it is to watch rockets launch. Aren’t rocket launches extremely expensive?
The air force pays over $400 million per launch to UL Alliance. SpaceEx Musk’s company charges $90 million!
I assume not more than 50% of that is profit and I suspect less than 25% is.
Musk has never even landed an aircraft on the moon. How is he going to colonize Mars before NASA does?
He basically wasted a bunch of money shooting a car into space as a spectacle to distract investors from the fact that he burns money faster than rocket fuel burns up, and makes next to nothing in terms of profits as compared to his $700 million loss per quarter and rumored $1 billion expense carried over as to not alarm people of losing almost $2 billion in one quarter.
I wonder how many companies have ever lost that much?
My guess less than 3.
Even if he sold 300,000 “35k” a piece as advertised cars for 50k a piece as he is now only selling to luxury end model buyers, he still wouldn’t even cover $350 million of the losses which isn’t even half of what he needs to make and he couldn’t even cover his losses if he smashed all other car companies and got 15% margins out of their battery cars.
Solar City has debts for Tesla to pay coming up in a couple months which I suppose will be paid by selling a boat load of stock!
Not to mention what if most of the people myself included who sent in their $1000 deposit wanted the advertised “35k” every day man’s stylish battery car?
Is it ethical to count and hold on to 100s of thousands of depositors’ money who want 35k car, but have no chance of getting a Tesla for 35k?
I was told maybe in 2 years, you’ll get your car.
Porsche is German engineer’s finest, and they’re selling an 80k model battery car to compete with
Tesla and Jaquar is releasing a 40k model this summer.
Somehow these working manufacturing lines currently “in Germany now,” are better than Porsche’s lines???
Tesla has never made 300,000 cars in a year that I know of.
Porsche makes those numbers every year for decades.
I know when we like people we hold on to hope that they can do what they say even if it is nearly impossible but this is getting a bit rediculous.
Um call a broke guy what he is, broke...
