Nikola Tesla, his thoughts on peace and once again foreseeing the future

It should be well known that Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest minds ever to have existed. Most people are aware the AC Vs DC battle, but Tesla predicted the future time and again, he really was (and still is) way ahead of his time.

During the time when the first League of Nations (pre 1920) was being pushed he had this to say:

"What we now want most is closer contact and better understanding between individuals and communities all over the earth, and the elimination of that fanatic devotion to exalted ideals of national egoism and pride which is always prone to plunge the world into primeval barbarism and strife. No league or parliamentary act of and kind will ever prevent such a calamity. These are only new devises for putting the weak and the mercy of the strong."

Adding

"Peace can only come about as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment"

100 years later with the "United Nations" in full swing the weak are very much at the mercy of the strong and "primeval barbarism and strife" is commonplace.
