10 Random Facts about @makinstuff
I was nominated by a few peeptaculars, @vladivostok, @professorbromide, and Dashaina aka(@adventurebuilder). Thank y'all :p

Alright let's see... This challenge was started by @twodorks and @anutu.
This challenge doesn't have to do anything with Steemit. Each person who decides to do the challenge will have to say at least 10 facts about yourself! Pretty easy right?! After that you need to ask one question and you have to tag that person to play along! Don't forget to use the hashtag #tenrandomthings so we can find your post!

1.) I'm a lucid dreamer and I talk in my sleep.
I often have vivid dreams that seem more real than waking life sometimes, and have the ability to dictate what happens in the dreams. I think I talk in my sleep pretty much every night, and don't think it'll ever stop. It's been rough on a couple ex- girlfriends that were light sleepers.
2.) I'm an eternal optimist in humanity.
I believe humans are abundance generators, but we have received a ton of bad programming in this age, from various forms of media/societal structures that are centered around violence and coercive forms of control. I believe the aim of any group of humans should be to build strong families filled with love, become self-reliant, morally centered, and resilient people.

3.) I find my peace in solitude, and have been a deep thinker for a majority of my life.
I tend to read many books people find boring with topics that cover, history, Austrian economics, biographies, entrepreneurialism, mindset, self-improvement, how-to instructionals, repair/technical manuals, and on occasion Science Fiction.
4.) I love singing karaoke.
I have a vocal range for the rat pack type singers like Frank Sinatra, and I love singing some Jim Morrison. I often get caught by my neighbors and friends pushing out some tune that's stuck in my head that I'm really enjoying. Solara from the Smashing Pumpkins has been a favorite recently.

5.) I believe humanity rests upon an age of incredible abundance and it will be completely decentralized.
I have a firm belief that the old systems that have been controlling the majority of humanity will wither away to the dustbin of history if those in the decentralized personal responsibility crowd work tirelessly to achieve new systems. There was an old Greek saying that goes something along the lines of "Society grows when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in." The open sourcing of products and accessibility of personal manufacturing will be the start of a new sustainable industrial revolution.
6.) I have a deep seated faith in the great creator, and feel as if I am part of it experiencing one aspect of an eternal consciousness.
I have become a more spiritual as I've grown older, and give much gratitude for each day I'm given in this reality/form. I believe if we are here now, we have chosen to bring something beautiful to the universe, and this world. Love is the highest of vibrations, and is the fundamental frequency of the universe I believe.

7.) I experienced great tragedy in my life, 2 years ago when I lost my older brother to suicide.
I miss him all the time, but have dedicated myself to living an exceptional life to honor his. He was a guy that would pick a stranger up from the side of the road and pay to get them food and a shower, as he often would do. His heart was 10x bigger than most, but he was a little bit different than everyone else. He was tormented by other people most of his life, and I was his closest buddy. My first memory was following him through the woods on a Lewis and Clark expedition. I knew I was safe because my brother Ben was leading the way. It's actually around the time of his passing in the month of October, and writing this feels like an honoring of who he was.
8.) I enjoy in depth philosophical and scientific conversations.
I could talk for hours about theories of energy from the vacuum, consciousness, ancient civilizations, morphic resonance theories in biology, the connected universe, and Nikola Tesla.

9.) I am curious about everything, there is not enough time to see, and learn everything I want to.
I love to see new places and absorb the local experiences. A big goal of mine is to be in a position to travel at will, to every megalithic site on earth, and also make it to Antartica on an expedition to explore some mysteries there.
10.) I am pushing for a world of abundant and decentralized communities.
Everything I'm doing currently, I have the intent of open sourcing so those that wish to live a resilient self-sufficient lifestyle may have the knowledge to do so. I'm building a trailer that is centered around the concept of total resiliency and documenting the build to share with the world and completely supported by you the wonderful humans of https://steemit.com and the tools like https://fundition.io/ that enable creators that are working to push the world in a positive direction. A big shout out to @kennyskitchen for supporting me on Steemit with @tribesteemup and everyone in the group that are raising the vibrations and pushing for a better world.

Bonus Question: What 3 items would I take with me on an island?
1.) Portable Solar Water Desalinator.
2.) A good tool steel machete
3.) A magnesium fire starter
I'd like to nominate a few other Steemians for this challenge.
@jackdub
@amberyooper
@jacobpeacock
@janton

Bonus question for the nominees: What does the future look like in 10 years?

Thank you for taking the time to give this a read!

Ok... Ok... @makinstuff you got me...... I took up your challenge!!!
10 random facts under #tenrandomthings have a good day brother!! :)
Awesome! you rock brother :) great to know more about your story. Didn't know you were a stripper....now everything makes so much more sense lol.
It's Interesting to see people's reaction when I tell them...... LOL
You've done so many different things! You should be the guy in the Dos Equis commercials. :) How did you get into the printing industry from graphic arts?
I really didn't know what I wanted to do, and my Dad was in printing and he said you will always have a job. Printing back when I started was the higher end, called Offset Lithography.
I worked for this very big commercial Lithographer in Cincinnati, and I still talk to the owner ( he is retired now ) on Facebook to this day. You really don't see that anymore. He put out a post awhile back about how employees are assets not liabilities. He used to tell people he never laid off anyone and he never would... I found out after moving on that this is not the norm (:
We are on the same wavelength. The number of fantastic ideas to explore is growing faster than I can get to them.
Sorry to hear about your brother. I'm sure that was hard to go through and is probably still pretty raw.
