After falling eliminated against Roger Federer in the semifinals of Wimbledon, Rafa Nadal had not returned to compete. And neither to train. The two weeks of rest have served to charge the batteries. In this way, the Balearic player has got to work to prepare the end of the season, where he will have a demanding calendar.

His academy's twitter account posted a video where Nadal could be seen training on the hard track. The Spanish tennis player will face several tournaments on this surface. His presence in the 1,000 Masters of Montreal (Canada) is still not assured, although everything seems to indicate that he will be in the tournament, having to defend his title and the 1,000 points that correspond to him as winner of the last edition.

Even so, its main objective in this end of the season will be the US Open that will be played from August 26 to September 8. Last season he reached the semifinals, where he retired injured in the middle of the game due to knee problems. Juan Martín Del Potro was his rival and who faced Novak Djokovic in the final of the tournament.
