Montreal Masters Tennis

Top seed Rafael Nadal of Spain and Russians Daniil Medvedev and Karen Khachanov qualify for the semi finals of Montreal Masters Tennis Tournament.

In the first quarter final, top seed Rafael Nadal beat Fabio Fognini of Italy by 2-6, 6-1 and 6-2.

Nadal overcame a sluggish start to defeat the Italian and keep his title defence alive.

Meanwhile in other quarter finals, eight seed Daniil Medvedev defeated second seed Dominic Thiem of Austria in straight sets.

Medvedev got victory with the score of 6-3 and 6-1.

In the third quarter final, sixth seed Karen Khachanov outplayed third seed Alexander Zverev of Germany by 6-3 and 6-3.
