A new beginning

The ship enters the planet's atmosphere. Eric runs to the window. Through it he observes a planet totally unknown to his race, immense trees and with a nature completely foreign to the known, the sky was red as blood, his seas had a similar appearance to metal in a liquid state. The humans had been forced to leave the planet earth. Now they were trying to colonize a new planet. He was not alone, there were a little more than a hundred people who had managed to escape from that planet that at some point gave them shelter, but now was in totally unrecognizable conditions. It was impossible for any form of life to exist there.

Eric is totally surprised at such a scenario. Now humanity would have to start over on a planet that was not even close to the earth. The ship manages to land successfully.

Eric is about to wake up the entire crew. When they get up, everyone begins to observe their surroundings. Eric, who was the commander of the crew, puts on a suit and prepares to leave. In his hand was a device that generated oxygen from the other gases that were in the atmosphere of that planet. In this way humans would have a habitable zone within a radius of one kilometer. Eric places the device on the surface of the planet. In his hand he displays a touch panel that allows him to start the purification protocols.

Eric returns to the ship. While they wait for the habitable zone to be created. Patricia, a high-ranking crew member, approaches him and says:

"Eric, I need you to escort me out, I have to install the power converter, and soon we will run out of power."

Eric leaves the ship with Patricia, after climbing a small mountain in the area deploy a hundred nanorobot, all of a size no larger than a grain of sand. After a few minutes, after multiplying, they begin to take a shape similar to that of a mirror, which covered almost the entire surface of the mountain. "This is undoubtedly a technological breakthrough" said Patricia bragging about her own creation.

While they were on their way to the ship they heard the sound of an alarm coming from the ship. Eric speeds up and says:

"Patricia, let's run, that alarm is an alert against extra-planetary threats."

Upon entering the ship, Eric asks the ship's computer for details of the threat. The computer says:

"A meteor shower of an average size no larger than five meters is about to enter the planet's atmosphere, it is estimated that they will hit ten kilometers north of our position. We will not suffer serious damage, however it is very likely to feel the strong gusts of air generated from the impact. "

Luke a crew member very close to Eric puts his hand on his shoulder and says:
"Easy brother, you'll see it's no big deal. This will happen quickly. "

Eric answers

"Remember that the problems on the earth began after a large meteorite collided on it, then the inversion of the magnetic poles, the ice age and consequences. We barely managed to escape a few. "

Homeland together with a large part of the crew are heading towards the window. Everyone was watching the show in the sky, in this sky due to the composition of the gases that make up the flashes take a dark green color. Eric activates a voting mechanism that is displayed on the touch panels of each person and says:

"Comrades, my duty as captain of the crew is over. Now we must choose our new leaders. "

All begin to realize their respective nomination and therefore their voting. A new order was apparently beginning. Eric and Patricia knew that the road would not be easy, but if everyone tried their best they would build a better society.

Eric from the touch panel of his left hand authorizes the uncoupling of the ship. The ship begins to disarm as if it were pieces of lego. Each compartment was perfectly designed to make the new beginning less difficult. Eric is finally elected president of the nation under construction. Now everyone has their new leaders. The colonization work is just beginning.
