Glad to read your thoughts... I had a hard time watching it myself, and even though I probably liked it more than you, I still had a very hard time accepting the way Poirot was portrayed in this... Instead of being an honored citizen, he was despised and looked down upon... I would much rather watch The Murder on the Orient Express once again... Have you seen it? How did you enjoy this other new modern Poirot version?
If you mean the new Branagh version, unfortunately, I hated it. That wasn't the Poirot of the books, either. David Suchet is the closest onscreen portrayal of the real Poirot, IMHO.
