Choosing a quality telescope
Lovers of Astronomy need a telescope. In this article, we'll talk about how to choose an amateur home telescope. There are different types and models of telescopes. But there are general criteria that will help you in choosing a good optical device.
The first criterion is the diameter of the larger telescope telescope in telescopes-reflectors. And for telescopes-refractors - this is the diameter of the main lens. The larger the diameter, the more light it collects. Usually in medium amateur telescopes this parameter is in the range from 70mm to 100mm. If you select within these limits, you will not be mistaken. There is no fundamental difference.
The second criterion is the type of telescope.
There are telescopes such as a reflector and a refractor. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages.
Telescope-reflector due to a larger glass collects a lot of light, which, of course, makes the image bright and clear. You will see the smallest details of the image. The disadvantage is that this telescope needs care. It will often need to be adjusted (adjusted) so that the image is always clear and bright.

The refractor telescope, in turn, offers you a good image, but is inferior to the reflector in this respect, but the advantage is that it can not be adjusted for a long time, and it will still show an identical image.
For the amateur, both options are suitable. Think about what shortcomings you are willing to accept and which ones are not, and make your choice.

I like your telescope it looks very unusual, I believe its the first time I have seen this sort of reflector telescope.
Excellent post mate.
I also own a telescope, its a coronado solar telescope which I have used for some years.
I will start forwarding solar videos soon on Steemit.
