Tablets, where? 12 reasons to have a tablet

Tablets, like smartphones, have been strongly inflated by Apple and are where they are now due to "eternal" Steve Jobs.

First tablet

Although the first tablet was presented by Bill Gates a decade before the iPad, using Windows XP, it was an unsuccessful attempt. The T Zero Moment, in which the tablet has become a really useful gadget, can only be the launch date of Apple's tablet in January 2010! (Hey, much has passed since then). Although initially the hype created was considerable, their brilliance slowly began to sink, becoming shaded by smartphones.

If the launch of new phone models is expected with the interest of large population segments, the launch of new tablet models has gone into plan 2. They say they have easily descended almost at the same level as televisions and refrigerators. I mean, it's cool to have your last refrigerator model, but do not laugh at your friends with him, right? They may be interesting too, but fortunately they are very rare.

About what we can use a tablet

However, tablets still do a lot of things very well and it would be interesting to see what they are. So let's take it in the order of the numbers on the shirts (that is, totally random :))

Having the same Google account on your tablet as on your PC, passwords and user names on different sites are self-complete, so the lost time with keyboarding is minimal. Plus, I use swype to write longer texts, which allows me to have a respectable speed in typing.
Travel Fun - if you have children, you know that a tablet is a heavenly hand on long journeys. Especially those with the car, where the adventures are spotted in the special seats. The tablet finds salvation giving them unlimited fun. Although I do not really agree with the use of mobile devices on a regular basis by the little ones, I admit, however, that while traveling with the car, few things can equal one tablet. Also, you, big man, if you are traveling by plane, train or other means of transport you can enjoy the same unlimited fun offered by a tablet.
Streaming - who uses Netflix or Plex via Chromecast knows what I'm talking about. With a tablet and a Chromecast any TV is Smart TV. You can use it as a remote control but also a "command center" from which you release the movies to watch on the TV.
E-reader - one of my favorite applications. To my shame, I bought fewer paper books because a tablet seems more comfortable to me and you can read it in the dark and so do not bother those around you who are trying to sleep. Also, the comic strips are great for one tablet!
Multifunction machine screen - For those with older cars and who do not have multifunctional screens fitted with newer models, they can use a tablet in this role. This way you can replace the old cassette, and you can also use it as a GPS. You can do some very interesting stuff, the internet is full of examples.
Draw, paint or design especially if you own an iPad Pro with Stylus. The multitude of graphics applications (Photoshop Sketch, Assembly, Forge, etc.) have turned tablets into a tool that is extremely useful to artists, engineers, or simply to people who want to get involved with the drawing.
Music creation, video editing - We think we live in a time when the possibility of creating music or editing / assembling a movie has come almost to everyone's fingertips, first of all through pricing and secondly through the diversity of software created In this regard. Although tablets still lack the power of processing and applications focus more on user friendliness than on complexity, they are extremely useful to experiment without being constrained by the cables and hardware of a real studio.
Laptop replacement - I think this expression has come to grips with Asus Transformer tablets. The more tablets come with external keyboards and the needs of "on the go" users using Excel or Word are covered by both their cloud equivalents and dedicated applications.
Tablets are also very useful in business, with dedicated applications and additional hardware. For example, they can be used in combination with barcode scanners + vouchers like cash registers. Fancy restaurants use them instead of menus, and waiters have replaced the notebook with a tablet in which it records the order. In the medical field (more outside), they are used in hospitals by doctors, who can access the patient file more easily, view their medical history, etc.
